She previously served as CEO of Lean Forward Media LLC, an interactive media and entertainment company, and also worked at Warner Bros., The Walt Disney Studios, and McKinsey & Company.

Walter Paulsen, Business Development & Retail

Walter Paulsen is Senior Vice President of Business Development and Retail for Giiv. He was previously President of CardFact, and prior to that a founding VP at Blackhawk Network.

Alexis Zimbalist, Marketing & Social Media

Alexis is Executive Director of Marketing and Social Media for Giiv. Prior to Giiv, Alexis was Director of Client Services for social media agency Digisynd which was acquired by Disney & Company.

Jason Friedlander, Engineering & Business Development

Jason is Executive Director of Technology and Product Strategy at Giiv. He is a grizzled veteran of the e-commerce and transaction processing world. Having degrees in both Computer Science and Religion, few people are more enthusiastic about implementing electronic Karma improvement solutions like Giiv.

Courtney Wissot, Project Manager

Courtney is a Project Manager at Giiv. Prior to working at Giiv, she studied French Literature at Columbia in NY, dabbled in some writing for the Niche Media glossies and after moving back home to LA researched for the popular celebrity news show Extra.

Gabe Hamilton, Engineering

Gabe Hamilton is a Software Architect for Web Technologies for Giiv. Previously, as a software engineer and consultant, he has designed web and enterprise applications in the U.S. and Europe. He founded InnoVoter and previously served as a Software Architect for Abacus Media.

Marc Jameson, Engineering

Marc Jameson is a Senior Software Developer, and enjoys modern design, dark coffee, and indie film. He was formerly at MySpace, where he developed key technologies including MyAds, Mobile IM, Live Video, and more. Previously, he worked at ifilm.com (now Spike), and has moonlighted as a music producer, working with such artists as Christina Aguilera, Madonna, and Kelly Osbourne.

Jim Berry, Engineering

Jim Berry is a Manager of Commerce Technologies for Giiv. Jim has designed scalable, reliable software solutions for a variety of commerce industries. Jim has a Masters Degree in Computer Science.

Mikkel Garcia, Engineering

Mikkel Garcia is a Manager of Mobile Technologies for Giiv. Prior to Giiv, he developed applications for Incomm on a variety of mobile-based projects and has consulted for many IBM based projects. Mikkel enjoys contributing to and creating open source projects in his spare time.
